No secret, the wipers suck...

Ok guys, it's no secret 2nd Gen wipers SUCK in the cold/snow/ice/slush. There is a large area infront of my face that the wipers miss completely. (doesn't even touch the glass, even when the blades are new). Does anyone have a fix for this? I have a friend at my firehouse with the same problem, but we are at a loss to a solution. Thanks!

My dad turned me onto the bosch blades. Not only do they do a GREAT job keeping the window clean but they also do that regardless of your speed. Now I don't know if you go fast enough or not, but just about anything over 65 will push the blade off the windshield as it goes up and down. Royal PITA if you ask me.

After putting up with mine for four years I just got a set of Bosch Icons. Excellent wipers with a rubber arm that follows the window contour better than the stock ones.
