Load % ??

I just got the Juice w/ attitude and ive got it all down except one thing i still dont know however is, What the hell is the load %? % of what? It says nothing about it in the manual and it varries so wildly i cant figure out what exectly that it is.

Does no one know what load percentage is? come on guys The juice w/attitude is super popular someones gotta know right.

LOAD % is the % that the engine is working for that given rpm/boost/temp. Its an instant load, not total load...

So say your doing 70mph at 1800rpms at 40% load... You have roughly 60% of the available fuel at that rpm/boost/temp/etc to use to accelerate/pass/etc..

With the auto you can learn at what LOAD the tranny will downshift as well.

So is that something that i really need or would want to keep my eye on? Or is it one of those little extra things that is just extra info that never really does any good knowing?

I use it just to see how hard the truck is working when towing. Since I use cruise control a lot and TPS doesn't work in cruise on a 3rd gen its the only way I know when the truck is WOT or near WOT.

But its mostly a nice to know. If you look at it enough you can learn trends on shifts, power, etc...

Thats good to know. It seems very hard to get mine above 94...
