I am running the BFG MTs and they have a D load rating, very nice tires. Are you wanting an A/T or an M/T??

Go to tire rack and you can search for the tires that meet your needs...

My 315 AT's (35's basically) are also "D".
BFG didn't make them in that size in an "E" either.

I think I could have gone up to 17" rims and got them in an "E", but the price differential was staggering (both the rims and the tires)

The 50psi max of the "D" doesn't seem like quite enough up front.

I've had BFG AT's on all my previous trucks and have been very happy with the ride, wear, mileage, etc.
Hoping I have the same results with the Dodge.

(I don't think I answered your question though ??? )

phox

Re:Info on a 33x12.50x16 LOAD RANGE "E"???

I've been running BFG Mt's for a few years now (4 actually) and they are a load range "D". They have a max of 65psi and handle the weight of a loaded goose neck trailer very well. One thing you may want to look at the the max lbs each tire can carry. The BFG Mt's are 3,200lbs apeace, (I think) and have a good hard sidewall. I run the fronts a 45psi and the rears at 40psi when unloaded, and air the fronts up to 50 or 55psi, and the rears to 55 - 65psi all depending on the load I'm hauling.

Hope that helps some.

DB

My Nitto 305/70/16 are E load range. They are about 33x12.5 and wear very well, I have 20k miles on them and they got about 1/2 their life left. Tim
Re:Info on a 33x12.50x16 LOAD RANGE "E"???

There are no 33x12.50R16LT tires. There are however 33x12.50R17LT but they only go to LOAD RANGE D. Remember, if the door placard says Load Range 'E' do NOT ever replace with a LOAD RANGE 'D' tire. The Max load and inflation pressures are very different from Load Range 'D' to 'E'.
If the sidewall says 114 its a Load Range 'D' (33x12.50R17LT 114_)

Tim

Look for some 305/70R16's. That's the metric equivilant to 33x12.5's. Metric sized tires are usually rated E or D. I've been running load range D's for 20,000 miles with no problem.

Re:Info on a 33x12.50x16 LOAD RANGE "E"???

i run 285/75r16 (about 32.5 x 10.5) load range E super swamper trxus MT radials. nice tires that work well in the mud but are wearing way to quickly in the rear (for me at least), more than halfway bald with on 7K on them. a buddy of mine has NITTO's on his and seem to ride and wear alot better, just my 2 cents

I am running Buckshot Maxxis Mudders and they have a D Range on them. So far I have about 15K on them and they seem to be wearing good...for a mud tire that is.

Re:Info on a 33x12.50x16 LOAD RANGE "E"???

Lot's of manufacures make a 33x12.50x16 tire, see them all over just wanted to stay with a "E" rating. I was thinking of the Parnelli Jones tire, looks pretty sweet half hwy, half mud. I commute 120 miles a day for work so I kindda wanted to stay a little more on the A/T side, but want the aggressive knarly look to! ;D... I will probly end up with BFG'S.

SEE WHAT YOU GUY'S HAVE STARTED WITH THIS BOMB STUFF! TO MANY DICCISIONS!!!!!!! :'(

P.S. Who the heck ever reads there "DOOR STICKER"????
