Im ****** off! I just bought my 99 dodge 2500 last saturday and I go to open the hood and it dosent open. The saftey latch opens but I cant open the hood. I can see what seems like the latch isnt connected to cable. Oh and when I went to look at the truck to buy it he already had the hood open so I could inspect the motor, I guess I know why!

 

push down on the hood while someone inside pulls the hood lever, probably just needs adjustment.

 

no its not connected at all when I can wiggle the hood release back and forth and can see nothing is connected.
