High Idle TSB
So I am getting ready too take my truck in have this feature enabled so I don't have too keep it plugged in all winter. Is there any thing I need besides taking the tsb which I am printing out as week speak?

if the temp is -10 plugging it in will help starting, but won't go to high idle

Yes, I knew about the automatic one, but it was appearing to me there was something new from DC that was driver controllable. Sorry. Maybe high hopes were getting the best of me.
I personally would be interested in the "aftermarket idle speed kicker" they mention in the TSB............meaning user controlled.
Some may have noticed that yes, I do have an '07 and my cruise control option is enabled. However, I'm trying to keep my eyes open for an option for a couple buddies with 2nd gens.

Sos I got this done and got my truck back from the dealer and I have a question. When they enable the high idle does the 3cyl deal turn on with the high idle or is it separate?

HA ya if I ever sell this pickup I should warn the next owners more than likely this truck will die on the farm after its not my dd it will be a trap wagon for feeding and fence building. I am looking at trying too find a 06-07 5.9 6spd 3500 srw too replace this one as they are bone stock have the same power I have with a little help and less miles.

Ok so whats the skinny its looking like it will be in the 20s in the morning and I have had the high idle enabled for a week and this will be the first morning I get too use it. Does the e brake need too be off or on with the trans in neutral?
