Lukes link is the cheapest but it needs adjustment from time to time I heard. ANd greasing//?
How bout others like the DSS DT PSC etc. So many choices today that really just confuse me. I jsut want the most bang for the buck!

Hello,
The Lukes Link corrects a different problem than the others mentioned. Do you currently have a steering problem? If you are looking for peace of mind and do not have an issue the PSC seems the best to me. That is the boat I was in.

I think if that doesnt go I'm looking at getting a 3rd gen track bar and installing the kit I think. How much is the bar new?

Are you talking about the track bar? Best bang for the buck is Luke's Link. I got it for about $80 and it's holding up solid. Greasing is required like any other. The only downside is that it takes longer to install. So basically you're paying for the difference in price with your own time. That end bushing is a pita too. I heard it's not as good for offroaders though.

You can get it from SolidSteelIndustries and I think DT. Others probably have it as well. I believe the conversion costs about the same as a DT heavy duty track bar. Between the two, I would go with the DT.

I prefer the SS coversion bracket and SS adjustable TB. You can get them from Source Automotive on west coast:

or KLM on East coast:

I really like the DSS, the SS 3rd gen adj TB and PSC 3 turn steering gear (SG-841M). As you know I may get flamed about using PSC by some who have not had good luck, but no problems with mine after 1 year.
I don't think you will be disappointed with your choice.
Good Luck,
Dave

Thanks DM
I think I saw the PSC but they didnt have the 3rd Gen Setup bracket. I will check with them first. They had a heavy winter storm in North Tex when I called so everyone went home early.
I will see with PSC tomorrow.
I dont know if I need the adjustable track bar or just a 3rd gen bar used with poly bushings bought new.
I think this is the route though.
I need so much stuff for the Dodge that I get confused on what and where and how to buy that I get cought up and delay purchase.
I recently prioratized all needed and steering was first in the book.
Then Fuel system upgrade! LP AirDog, VP44 Ouch!, and Fireball Injector 100's.
And finally I might be happy!!!!!!!!!

PSC only carries the DSS. They do not have the 3rd gen TB conversion bracket or 3rd gen track bar. I do like their steering gear.
I know its confusing with all the choices of track bar types and everyone has differing opinions on what works. I went thru the same thing trying to choose. I looked them all over carefully before I decided.
I prefer the adj Solid Steel track bar over the others...just my preference. The SS adj bar was easier to install and allows adding 2 inch lift later but it cost about $100 over the non-adj SS 3rd gen tb. At least pick a 3rd gen style and it eliminates any joint on the frame end replaced by a bolt thru bushing...no more failing joint to worry about.
Good luck,
Dave
