Daytime running lamp

I'm in the process of importing an '01 3500 into Canada from the U.S. One of the requirements is Daytime Running lights. I picked up the oem module, but haven't found the connector in the wiring harness. Any insight as to where it's located?

Question

Does anyone have a picture of the actual DRL module installed on their vehicle? I haven't been able to locate the OEM connector in the harness yet.

The harness is located (if there) on the drivers fender. I have a picture from my 97, but I am not sure if the US models have the harness plug. If you look to the left of the green box, there is a harness plug hangin there with a Scotchlok on it for my High beam jumper. I had problems with mine and pulled the plug.

I had to disable my daylight running lights once I built the harness with relays for my sport lights....Now its just habit that every time I drive the truck I turn on the lights....

Check out this site. He has a relay system to save your switch and a DLR system as well.

If you have single bulb housings you can switch over and actually have headlights as well. One of the best mods for 2nd gens - IMO

HeadLights

just noticed tonight headlights seem dull, just installed new bulbs. lights are definetley worse then i thought and no where near as bright as the should be. Could this be the light controller switch????? could this be affecting my daytime lights, and back up lights if this switch has gone goofy. should i change it first before i spend $130 bones on a new daytime light module
