Changing out my cab

Hey guys I had an idea to change out my '95 cab for something newer with the 2 rear suicide doors. Has anybody ever done this mod? Do I need to find a 3/4 or 1 ton cab or are the 1/2 tons the same also?

A 1500 cab will work but what are you going to do about your short frame?

Short frame? I have an extended cab now and I'm gonna swap out an extended cab. It's just that I want an extended cab with the suicide doors for rear seat entry.

That was info that you left out. I assumed you had a standard cab.

I may have to take u up on that. How much wiring differences do yall think there would be between say an '01 and a '95. Would the '01 just hook right up to the '95 or would I have to change out the entire cab harness?

You will have to rip everything out and change it over. Not a real big deal though.

five20too...the body should mount on the old ones and the plumbing is different. The electrical is all there with slight modifications.

I should have stated that the plumbing makes its way through the firewall differently.
