Changing out proportioning valve on 2001?

My ABS and Brake Light have stayed on since I changed my wheel cylinders to 27mm about 2 months ago. I have 4wheel ABS and it is a 4x4. I have since changed my calipers and master cylinder and reset computer and lights still remain. So my last resort is to change the proportioning valve which I am most definite my truck has. I have called O'Riellly Auto parts and they don't stock it! Does that mean I have to go to the dealership? Well if the need is there then I must do it. Has anyone ever changed theirs out? The cost? Thanks Aaron

It says partial brake failure.

So far I have replaced:
Rear wheel sensor
Calipers
Master Cylinder
Bought Proportioning valve today.

I am hoping that it is the proportiong valve to end this. It seems as if the truck doesn't want to stop sometimes anyway so this may have been the problem in the first place. I will report back if this is the fix. Take Care

From my experience with this system none of the parts you purchased and installed will cause an ABS warning lamp to come on. I'll try to see what I can find out for you.

....There are 32 codes relating to the abs system on a 01 truck. None of them are "partial brake failure". You really need to have a dealer scan your abs module.

The chances of that part failing is very rare since its only a check ball with springs on both sides to make sure the front rotors get the same amount of pressure.

How about front wheel sensors? There are two of them that control the front axle. Mount up in the hub area... ??? I never seen them but I seen the wires going to them!!!

I haven't even thought about changing the front sensors. I will be ****** off if that is the problem because as I have listed I have spent like 200 bucks trying to find the problem. What is weird is that ever since I changed the brake cylinders to 27mm the lights have been on and won't go off. I have scanned it at the dealership and I think it was code 78? don't hold me to it but it read Partial Brake Failure on the computer. Maybe this can further help someone to find my problem. Thanks and have a blessed day. Aaron

I have an '01.5 3500 2X4 and since about 20,000 miles about once a week the ABS light would flash just quick enough to catch your eye, but now it seems to be getting more steady. Any ideas out there?

As I stated above there are 32 codes listed for the ebc 325 RWAL system on your truck and NONE of them are listed as partial brake failure. You really need to get this scanned again and get the exact code/codes that are active and stored.
