Changing out blower motor?
My dad's blower motor on his 99 is making alot of noise. Has anybody changed theirs out before? If so got any tips?<br>Thanks, Copenhagenjunkie

changed mine out about 3 months ago. If the bearing in the motor is sticking, it will burn up the resistor located next to the motor. About $68.00 dollars.<br><br>The screw in the back is hard to get to, but it can be done. Just remove the housing screws, pull the vent hose off the back, unplug and your done.<br><br>A squeeze clip hold the fan on.<br><br>I purchased a blower motor from a salvage yard in Corpus Christi for $25. <br><br>The blower in 1500, 2500, and 3500 from 99 and up are all the same.<br><br>Good luck.
