Changing out the steering stabilizer on an '02????
Changing out the steering stabilizer on an '02????
I need a little help here guys.
I am trying to change out the stabilizer on my truck. I bought a Skyjacker replacement unit, but it doesn't seem to be working out for me.
The oem shock has a tapered shaft where it bolts to the drag link and it doesn't seem possible to remove this shaft without grinding the spot welds on the end cap. The SJ replacement didn't come with any mounting hardware what so ever, just two bushings, a dust boot, and the shock.
What am I supposed to use to mount the SJ to the drag link?
Is there a way to reuse the oem tapered shaft?
