Bumper to Bumper Warranty Gone......What all does the 100K cover?
I don't know if this has been the topic of any posts lately but I was wondering what all Dodge will cover under the 100k drive-train warranty? I talked to a buddy of mine who bought an 03’ and he said everything from the oil-cap all the way down to (but not including) the brake pads. I had to have my front drive-line replaced at about 25K due to getting too much mud and sand while off-roading. My truck is lifted and they did not give any problems with it but I figure they knew that the angle of the shaft played a role. Anyway, I am at about 46K now and am getting paranoid about dropping $$$ if something goes out. I have heard all about the lift pump and will probably hook up a gauge sometime to check it out. Anybody have any stories to share about the 100k mile warranty?
Thanks!
Tom

Yep.....i got to drive a neon for a week. I had the 5year 100K warrant before dodge went 7 /70k. Even with 7/70K isnt the engine covered by cummins until 100K?

Yep, 100K is correct. I just looked at the Dodge web site and downloaded the warranty info. There are some exclusions however. One thing I just realized is that I never did correct my speedo to accomodate the 315/75 R 16s.........looks like I will get more than a 100K warranty!

Here is a link-------------------> http://www.dodge.com/crossbrand/warranty/ that can be used to access the Dodge warranty page. I wonder if anyone has had warranty issues with a lift? Maybe later when more users are one someone will reply.

Not even bothering trying to go through Dodge.
Just fixing it right the first time.
RIP Front Driveshaft in the accessories forum.
The engine is warrantied for 100K, but not through Cummins.
Part of the deal for Cummins to supply engines to Dodge is that Dodge offer the same warranty available on all Cummins engines, 100,000 miles.
Dodge handles the warranty.
Only way Cummins will do any warranty work is if there is a referral from Dodge,
I.E., the local Dealership doesn't have any Diesel mechanics on staff.

Front driveshaft is the only issue I've had thus far.
Ball joints and bearings seem to be surviving.
Shocks suck, but that's Skyjackers fault.
Put the DSS on to prevent any steering box problems.
Only engine issue I've had is my VP44 dying 40,000 miles ago at 4K.
