can anyone tell me if the injector pump and lift pump are covered by my 7 year/ 100k power train warranty. it is getting so i don't trust the dealer to always be on the up and up as far as truth telling goes.

Yes, they are covered under the 100 k.

 

good to know scooter as i think this is the only weak link in my truck.

 

Yes it is,,, you can also look in your warranty book for any other info you want to know Your dealer can't lie about what is in ink. ;D

 

How about the Oil Pressure switch?

 

my oil pressure sending unit was replaced by the dealer at 35,600 mile at no cost to me. i would think it would be covered up to and including 100k. i read the warranty info book and it seems to be covered.

 

yea they're covered, just as long as you havent done anything to void that warranty......like piercing the pump wire for a fueling box

 

Well that's a relief to know... I took it to a dealer and they wanted $350 to replace the oil pressure switch...

Guess I can take it back and make them fix it on thier nickle.

 

dam, don't pierce any pump wire or the ******* will juice you >
