Won't crank over
My 99 6 Spd won't crank over sometimes, getting worse everyday. When I turn the key all the guages work and all the dash lights come on but it just won't turn over unless you turn the key several times. Installed a new starter and new batteries didn't help. How do I override the clutch switch to see if that is the problem? Any other suggestions?
Sounds like it might be the starter relay going south.
The clutch safety switch should be located under the dash and is plugged into a two prong plug at the harness.
Just jump across the two pins to eliminate that as a source of trouble. Then reconnect it if it's good.

The clutch switch should be visable from under the steering column. I would use a test light to see if its making up before going ahead and jumping it out.
If that tests out ok remove the cover on the steering column to make sure theres no broken wires etc in there near the turn signal where is goes down the column.
Good Luck
