Well stupid me

Seeing as my truck is immobile and I lost my haynes manual, how do I drain the filter bowl of fuel before replacing the fuel filter? I need to get this done tonight so any help would be appreciated. Is it the bleeder valve lookin piece with the black plastic cap on it?? Do I just unscrew that?? I don't want to blow fuel everywhere from the pressure. I just want to do it safely. preciate yall!!!

There's a lever on the front of the fuel bowl. Pull up on it. Or just unscrew the bottom banjo bolt.

Just pull up on the handle on the fuel drain shown here on the right hand side of the canister.
