VP-44 maybe problem

VP-44 maybe problem
Hi All,
I have a 99 ctd auto, with a 160,000 miles. Last night went to get on it a little to get on a highway, there was a sure of power, then the truck just died. There are no code thrown, but I have a low pressure fuel light, and that was on sold red. I check if I was getting fuel to the filter which I was. Stuck on this one, do you guys have any ideas.
