Brake Problem....Maybe? help...
Ok, my brakes aren't as responsive as they used to be and not like I'd like them to be. Does the brake lines need to be flushed or something, how much might this cost? Will it help any with being more responsive and stiffer on the pedal? I need to get it done this week possibly, or is there someting else I should be looking at/for this problem? Any help with this will be appreciated. Brake pads are only 2 months old and are in good shape, just checked them.
There's not a fluid / lube that should not be changed / flushed , generally I would flush once a yr , every pad change and or at least every 20,000 miles .
There are a lot of issues here , need more info to be able to tell what your problem is .
Some basics , not all yrs. , but a lot of complaints about the dodges brake being weak , could be a cheap set of pads , if now braking at the very beginning of peddle travel , you may need to adjust rear brakes , then there may need some service to the power assist system .
Were the rotors turned when pads were replaced ?

Yeah, rotors were turned. I have them turned every other pad change and that's about every 8 months or so. I do a lot of hauling of about 24-30K# How expensive is it to get fluid flushed and adjusting the rear brakes? The brake pads are the Wagners, Thermo quiet. Supposedly thier pretty good, you'll have to excuse me for the questions, I'm a little new to the diesel world and pretty much automotive. I figured you'd have to change the brake fluid and flush it but wasn't sure when and how often, thanks very much!
A good shop should do the adjustment & flush with a pad change .
One of the problems is that if its not done on a regular basis , sometimes the bleeders can be seize / rusted & not be opened , that makes it cost more .
The flushing makes the hole brake system last longer .
I would not suggest skipping this then looking for other issues .
After flushing & checking adjustment and if still light braking , then maybe look into the power assist system .
