Stock Clutch E- Brake

I was using my stock clutch with an E brake pulling heavy loads and the center of my clucth broke out. The thing is if it broke while pulling it would have slipped. the only thing I can figure is the pressure of having the e-brake working on it under heavy loads so becareful! I put in a TST 13 in. 1000 ft/pound clutch hopefully it will hold?

Cool

That is an odd one. In over five years of being on these forums, that is the first time I have heard that.

And it's difficult to live without an e brake, once you have towed with them.

Good luck with your new clutch!

It's not the E brake, just pulling with the stock clutch, real weak disk center on them.

There is no plastic in this stock clutch. I'm sure pulling had something to do with it. I have a PM2 I've had it for about 4 years in the cold weather it slips? It's done it since I bought the PM2 but when I looked at the clutch pad it still looked good. I've been driving a couple of days with the tst clutch it has a real light pedal but it's alittle jumpy taking off. I'm trying to be very easy for the first 500 miles or so. I thought since I have all this new clutch I sent back my PM2 and had them reflash it as a PM3 w/remote. We'll see how good the clutch is? Thanks guys for the feedback!
