Stock horse power for a 2000 CTD

Hi,
I am sure this has been answered before but a search could not find it. What is the stock HP/Torque for a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD? And any ideas for the HP/Torque after adding an EZ, 4" Exhaust and an AFE air filter?

Thanks

-Pete

This should answer your first question: http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/Facts/98ISBspecs.html

I'll leave the answer to the second question to someone who might have dyno'd such a combo, but I think Edge claims +65 horsepower. The filter and exhaust typcially won't add any power, just make it breathe a bit better in order to help keep EGTs down. From what I've read, these motors are more fuel-limited than air-limited in these trucks.

Javamann,

With contents of my signature ( including the EZ and minus the VB )...I dynoed...

HP: 227
TQ: 500

I would guess you would be close to this.

I have an auto and would expect HP to be a little higher for a manual trans.

I've never dynoed stock, but I would guess somewhere between 170 - 190 HP.
