try "bumping" the starter, leave the ignition in the "on"
position, crack loose the injectors lines.(while key is on)
Of course..I don't know what year your truck is.
If you have a 2001 (like I do) the starter-bump-key-on will kick in the electric fuel transfer pump for a few seconds..
Also be sure there is no water in the water trap.
I am no expert..not even close, but I would try what I just told you.
Good luck!

When you are bleeding the injector lines you need to crack at least three of them slightly loose, then crank the engine till you see no bubbles coming out of the connection at the injector.
Keep body parts away from the connection, as this is really really high pressure fuel squirting out of them, could easily enter the skin and cause all kinds of problems.
Tighten them down, then try starting again.
Often you need to hold the pedal to the floor while cranking, then keep it there till the engine smooths out.

When bumping the starter to get the LP going you might have to do this a bunch of times to get it running. Just did it the other day when changing fuel lines around.

If you have bled the injector lines and still can't get it to light off, I'd suspect your injection pump might have taken the big dirt nap.
Did you change the lift pump due to a previous No Start problem?

low fuel pressure at cracked open injector?
continued from previous topic(replaced fuel transfer pump/no start).
I have little fuel pressure at the cracked open injectors....is this a sign of a fuel injection pump problem?
or is it because it has not a chance to build because it is open?

Have you tried letting the starter crank for 15 to 20 seconds to see if it will fire up?
Let the starter cool for a minute or so between these attempts.
Also be sure all fuel connections are tight so air isn't being let into the fuel system between the tank and the injection pump.

Well even for me it is to bad...(Remember mind is dieing during this time) I had total drained and remove the output banjo bolt to install the FP guage.
Bump the starter and let the LP running during this time I took my finger nail and pressed the schader vlave open (on the VP 44) and bleed the air out.
Bump the starter again... Let it runthe LP pump...
Crank on the engine for abour 10 sec... NO FIRE
Bump the starter again... Let run LP pump...
Crank the engine... Started!... It missed for a few seconds but smoothed out quickly.
This is the second time of re-priming the VP44 for me and this is easy!

Have you tried "Bumping the starter"?
(Turning the key to the ON position, then for a split second, turning to the START position)
This should energize the lift pump for approx 30 seconds, allowing it to refill the filter canister.
Try doing this 4 or 5 times, allowing the pump to run for it's full cycle each time.
Also try loosening the Banjo bolt at the inlet port of the Injection pump to pure all air from the fuel lines to this point.
If you get fuel there, tighten the connections and try to start the engine.
If it still doesn't start, you may need to 'bleed' the fuel lines to the Injection Pump and the Injectors.
Loosen the injector nut at the head on injectors 1, 3, 5 and see if you get fuel (it should be under very high pressure so keep your face and hands away when cranking).
If no fuel here after several attempts, I think an injection pump may be your next purchase.
