so who actually likes it? I am looking at an 01.5 with a 5 speed in it. I'm kinda scared though.

NV4500 is a good tranny. Fix the 5th gear problem and its nearly bullet proof.

 

I've got three of them. Only way I'd want a 6 spd is for towing. For daily driving, 5 spd is hard to beat.

 

Tate I have always wondered about your sig, 24v with a 100 plate?

ive got a 99' with a 5 spd in it and well.....
it revs at 2 grand on the highway and im only going 100km/hr.
id like it more if it rev'd a little lower.
i never use 1st. to start off always use 2nd and sometimes 3rd with no problems at all.
