Can't go wrong with a South Bend Clutch. You may want to call Peter and let him know what you are looking to do. He will help you decide which one you should go with for what you do with your truck. He may also be able to give you some names of people in your area for the install.

SB customer service is wonderful.

Matt

The question is "if you need a new clutch why wasn't the old one strong enough" and if you buy from SBC will $200.00 more be more value than an overpriced factory replacement. You have neglected to offer the tragedy involving the old clutch, give Peter a call and be truthful about the failure to get the best bang for your buck. PK

The SBC is certainly the better clutch, but if you want a stock type clutch, get the LUK Pro Gold, much stronger than the stock LUK and about $300.00 exchange.

It's unanimous South Bend is the clutch of choice. My clutch will be installed on Wed. 7th july.Im gonna try the Luk pro gold.My old stock clutch lasted 97,000 miles. It was my fault when i burnt it out pulling a backhoe stuck in the mud.I did get the backhoe out and then drove 6 hours home from our hunting cabin. Thanks for all the advice guy's.
