Re:LIFT PUMP

The dealer replaced mine under warranty with the 5080885 AA part number according to the work order. This was in March of this year. ;D

Re:LIFT PUMP

Is it or is it not, covered under the powertrain? I saw a recall on them, but Dodge told me mine wasn't covered. The dealer said it wasn't under the 100K warranty either. It happened over a year and a half ago and I'm still irritated.

I know where I will go to purchase my next Ram!

Re:LIFT PUMP

Dennis, be careful about that place. That is the same place that told my son he was on the wrong end of the lot when he went in to look at a truck. The ignorant salesman told him he was at the wrong end of the lot and that these trucks were too expensive for him. He didn't tell me until about three weeks later or me and that dude and his manager would have had a talk. That was a pretty stupid move on the salesmans part.

Re:LIFT PUMP

As said above the correct # is 3990105 ( Cummins) and the lift pump is on the 5/100000 warranty, any dealer that says otherwise, don't know diddley :
Question is , do you want to wait until it's bad enough to meet the specs for a dead pump. I think most of us here will call a pump dead long before STAR will.
Just my little ole opinion, ain't worth much, but it is mine ;D
