I dont think my truck works right
It doesnt smoke even when pulling a load. Isnt it supposed to smoke? I get a bit just when I take off hard right when it is just warmed up but then nothing... Is this right? Or did I accidently get a gasser that has a bit of valve knocking?

If you want the smoke you have to spend some money and it can get exspensive fast! If you have someone else do the work. Even with it being stock and your towing I'd get some gauges. You can get high EGTS when towing and your rpm's are too low, so the best way to be safe is a pyro, boost, and fuel pressure. Have fun

Stock, mine has no smoke that I can see in the mirrors
With my Van Aaken I get some small puffs. Nothing too major.
Injectors or aggressive box(Like Comp) will give you some smoke!

I would get a little puff, empty. When loaded I got a puff that I would not have to strain to see. All this before the RV's. Now I get the small easy to see puff empty from a stand still. Loaded a little more. However, I drove across country and got up to about 8000ft, lot more smoke

Previously never saw smoke except one time on the Dyno, occasional haze at WOT.
Still stock fueling wise.

With my truck, when I come out of a stop, floored of course, I get a decent puff, it isnt quite black, but it is there and I dont have to strain to see it. When I am driving and I floor it ( around 35 mph) I just get a little strain of it. lol. But at night when a car is behind me with their lights on and I floor it, I can watch my smoke all the way home. It shows the nice little puff, and the long long line it leaves behind
