The Standard Output 235 HP CA engine and the 49 state 245 HP engine. Reason I ask is I bought my truck used in CA. The previous owner left the original window sticker in the glovebox. The sticker says that the truck was delivered to a dealer in Texas. Anyone know how I can confirm what engine I have?

 

It should say on the data plate, drivers side of the timing cover.

 

That should be a 235 HP ETC. All auto's were ETC's. SNOKING

 

This might vary on a couple of the model years, (1st years for the HO's) but if the 8th digit of the vin is a 6, it's a SO. A "C" in the 8th spot is an HO and I've seen a couple of 01 HO's for sale that had a 7 in the 8th vin spot.

 

Yep ETC 235 since it is auto, the ETH(H.O.) is a 6 speed engine only. 01 and 02 ETC=235-460, ETH-245-505
