How do I tell if I have a 47re trans?
How do I tell if I have a 47re trans (see info about my truck below)? My mechanic is going to check out some problems I'm having with my transmission. If I have a 47re trans, should I have him adjust that first band? Thanks

You have a 47RE.

If you are diving into the tranny, why not check and adjust all bands?
