2wd 47re to 4wd 47re

I have a 4wd 99, and just bought a reman 47-re from a private seller, when it got here it turns out to be a 2wd tranny. My big problemo is that the OD unit appears to be cast into the ouput shaft housing on the 2wd unit, where on the 4wd in my truck, it is seperate, so the T-case can bolt on. Where do I go from here?

Rebuild your OD unit and unbolt the OD off the new 2wd trans you got and bolt you freshly rebuilt OD unit to it. Or take both OD units and have a trans shop swap internals for you. I believe that most of the parts are the same except for the output shaft and the case.
