Factory VP44 ?
Factory VP44 ?
First I'd like to say hello to all, and I am from UT. Know for the question, does the yellow void sticker on the vp mean it's an original vp in the truck? I bought the truck used from a dealer with 137,000 miles on it, so I don't know the history. Thanks
My original VP44 had the "void" stick on it.
Had the VP44 replaced at the Dealership and they didn't put the "void" sticker back on, or a new "void" sticker.
I'd guess yours the original, or it was replaced at a different Dealership than mine was, it's not unheard of for originals to go past 100K miles.
Dealership you bought it from, or any Dealership, can run the VIN and it'll report if the VP44 has been replaced at any Dealership.

No, it's a "void if removed" sticker they put on that leaves a trace if removed.
They put it on the data connection at the VP44, so if you remove it to plug in a box, they can tell you removed it.
They started putting them on around 2000-2001 or thereabouts.
I bought mine brand spankin' new with 4 miles on the odo, and the sticker was there.
