Engine Locked Up !!!!! Need fresh Ideas

Well that is still better than a motor or tranny. But could it have made knocking nosies as loud as a rod knocking and still run the engine until I turned it off.?

Since you've got the oil pan off pull the piston anyway. (To see whether the skirt is cracked or deformed)
Sounds like a lot of work. But while you're at it you can do studs, port and polish the head, do a nicer valve job etc...
I see you run the helix2 cam- did you use new springs and retainers? How do you like the cam? What fueling mods do you have?
