whining, help

I have a high pitch whine happening when my turbo is producing over 5psi boost. the higher the boost, the higher the whine. Nothing like it normally sounds. It just started happening. No driveablilty issues, no low boost, no high egt's, everything looks ok. Any ideas??

Interesting. Same thing just happened to me. I did two things prior to that. First, an apps reset. 2nd, I replaced the stock air filter with a K&N. I don't have a boost gauge but my wife and kids all noticed it too. Not sure which one made the difference. Even light throttle starts it whining and it becomes constant at highway speeds. Definitely related to the turbo too because you can hear it spool up as the turbo does.
