I've been having a problem lately with starting. When I turn the key to start position, I just get a click. If I turn the key again, the starter will usually engage and the engine will start. Sometimes it takes more than one try to get the starter to engage.

Stater solenoid contacts are worn out.. if you search on here there are heavy duty ones available from I think Geno's garage.

 

You can get the oversized contacts from fostertruck.com.

I do not know where you are but most battery shops carry starter solenoid contacts for our trucks.

The heavy duty ones are about equal in size and shape to the mail order versions, and mine only cost 6 bucks!!
