that is a good price. Don't forget, you'll need gaskets.

Yeah looks like pensacola has a great price on LP's. Didnt see a gasket kit on there tho, do they have them or wheres the best place to get ahold of one?

Does anybody know anything about the "new improved" delphi LP they have on there? price difference isn't much, may be worth it.

thanks

I wouldn't waste time with another stock lp. It'll just fail again. i would go aftermarket if you have the funds.

I would look at the Airtex. I think Vulcan may sell them. The Delphi looks like the Airtex. The original Carters are a real crap shoot, mostly snake eves. I am on #3 in 53k. I have a spare Carter under the seat and an Airtex under the seat too. The Fass stock replacement seems like a reasonable relacement, but they do not last forever, nor are they perfect. The Carters are a 4 letter word, your choice.

the last couple of replys seem to refer to the 24v LP...
the Stock 12V LP is pretty decent.

It apprears that the origional poster has a 12V...

True, but this is the 24 Valve engine and drivetrain section. A redirect to the 12v area would have cleared any confusion.

Any people wonder why VPs get a bad reputation, this is exactly why. Just do a FASS or airdog.
