Bad Caliper?

The drivers side rear caliper on my truck was stuck and got the rotor REALLY hot. Is there anything else that could have made it stick, other than the caliper being bad. I'm going to replace it. I just want to make sure i'm not missing a different problem. Thanks in advance.

I have seen the rubber hose collapse and not let the pressure drain back?

Did you have the e-brake partially engaged?

Mine would not recoil all the way open last fall and I drove to town and got there with a smoking right side rear brake assembly. Pretty exciting. I took it all apart that afternoon and everything seemed ok. The tire shop said it was fine too.

Check that out while your under there.
