Need old part stock source or repair ideas?

Looking for a discontinued item Dodge P/N 4363033 (superceeded to P/N56007119) no longer available from Dodge. Does anyone have old stock?

It is the dash map/courtesy light on a club cab model truck that is located above the H/A controls.

Has anyone every repaired one of these or rewired around it?

Thanks!

You can pick up a handfull of them at any yard for $5. There was a TSB on them years ago, a little steel bracket that made the R&R slightly less of a PITA. Slightly, not much though. Let me know if you come up empty handed, I may have one or two, I'll check.

What happened to yours? Some people think the thing is gone and it's really up in there behind the dash still, take the dash apart and look. Clean up the instrument cluster and replace the burnt bulbs etc at the same time.

All the yards in my area are picked clean!

Mine has the plastic tabs that are heated into place so R&R is not an option.

I guess something in my switch came apart because it is stuck in the off position and keeping my dome light from working. I am assuming it is a 3 position switch that lets you control your dome light from the dash. Like an on/off/door type deal?

If you have a good one I would much appreciate an opportunity to buy it.

Thanks!

It is a three position, barely functional when good. I don't know if that would keep the dome lite from working though, it is either on or off and it can be set so it doesn't come on when the doors open if memory serves me correct. The problem with the dome light wiring is it runs under the drivers feet, gets wet and the rest is history. Check it out, from the dome light down the drivers side rear cab along the sill plate or floor, then up next to the E-brake and behind the dash.

If your switch is bad PM me your address, I'll send you one for nothing.
