Considering that the 47RE fluid/filter chage process really makes a mess, I purchased a universal drain plug for the pan. Does anyone know where it should be installed? That is, a location in the pan that won't interfere with the inner workings of the transmission.

It seems to me that I've seen photos of the installation of one of these plugs in the past. Does anyone know where they might be?
