Blue Chip VP44
Blue Chip VP44
Anyone had any experience with these yet? I believe they're supposed to be the Bosch redesigned VP44 for Fedex trucks - new, heat-tolerant electronics, a new housing, and some new fittings for the timing piston. I've also heard that Blue Chip will hotrod one with SO/HO parts.
I threw an 0216 code sometime in the last week, after 40K miles. Good fuel pressure, no symptoms at all, just came up on the reader when I checked it. So I'm starting to think about what to do. I'm not fooling with warranty or DC service techs, and I don't want another problem VP44 - "fix and forget".
