what kind of power increase do you all think that i will see with this pump compared to the stocker vp44 i had in there?

Easy man. It's midnight. Most normal people are asleep. Give it sometime. AFAIK, if you ordered the standard pump then you won't get any additional power. If you ordered the hot rod pump then you will gain power. I just don't know how much.

As far as I can tell I got around 80 hp from my II pump

 

pretty solid pump? smooth idle and all?

 

Idle varies but it still seems to be a solid performer over the last 11 months.

 

Does the hot rod pump effect mileage at all?

 

Blue Chip has a HRVP? When I talked to them last year, they just had the SO/HO pump, nothing in the way of extra power.

 

Most report gains of 70-100 hp with a HRVP.
