24v issues

im looking for another cummins and the last one i had was a 12valve so i know just about anything to know about a 12v from power gains to common problems. obvioulsy im wanting another 12valve but the way the bank is wanting to finance me it could be cheaper to get a 2001 or newer because they are saying anything older than 2000 i can only finance for 24 mo. but 01 or newer i can for 60 mo. so the question is, i know about the 53 block and the ip problems but would a F.A.S.S. fix the problem of starving the ip of fuel? and what are other problems im not aware of and ways of fixing them. thanks for the help

yes it will help and the Air dog 150 is cheaper by a couple hundred and quieter i've heard. but the IP still will eventually wear out. Some people add 2 stroke oil to help lube the IP. Other problems are a crap shoot, gotta take them as they come. APPS is somewhat common too.

See if you can get a line of credit. Thats what I did for my 12v. That way what you buy is none of there business, and you can take it out for as long as you like.
