It been a while since I chucked my ez in the trash......... here is the manual.

??? How could a timing box cause this? It doesn't even tap the pump. Saying that the problem simply is the box is a bit quick on the draw, but I guess it IS pretty easy to unplug.
The way I understand it, the EZ fools the boost sensor, increases injection timing, and tricks the boost sensor to allow low boost fueling to get the turbo spooled up. I don't see how any of these features could possibly cause the problems listed.
With dead pedal in addition to the first post from the OP, it does start sounding like a bad VP, though.

well i unplugged edge and took a test ride and seem to have the same problem i will reset and pull cades again at work it is not looking good for the home team but im not giving up yet thanks for any help and for the help so far
Mine did the same as your truck before the pump went. I was half way between Minnesota and Colorado. Please listen and replace your pump. It will go completely at the worst time. Did you read my second sentence?

thats what im thinking also going with a new fass thanks that would be my luck to
well bit the bullet and ordered the fass 95gph 150 series and vp44 from MWFI was told on the phone that 150gph would conflict with stock engine and fuel module causing surgeing and other issues by ruturning to much fuel anyone running the 150gph on stock engine
