216 code help!!

Sorry for the duel post here and Help but I need advice FAST.

I just pulled my trailer out of storage to go camping this weekend. Normal power still playing with my new trans but everything feels fine, still funny upshift if your following my posts though. I just did a quick front brake job and for grins ran the key trick 1693 and 216.

Ok, IP's dying should I still go camping this weekend? I'm going about 100 miles into the Rockies to dry camp with a bunch of friends. but the main road to and from is a 2 lane road with rocks on each side (hwy 24 west of Colorado Springs just past Lake George if your familiar with the area) I'll be by myself so no kids or wife I just don't want to brake down on the way their or back. URGGG why now!!!

Next ethical question. I have 82000 on the ticker and this is "technically" covered under warranty. I have never tapped the wire just the mods in my sig. Can I get the dealer to replace it under the 100,000 mile Cummins warranty? I mean come on an ez killing a VP, I think not. I upgraded the LP to help it. Your opinions? Also if you've followed my not wanting to upshift until WOT post do you think the IP and trans could be related?

Thanks.

Sorry, can the 216 code go away with a few starts like other codes or is stuck and will never go away. The latter I'm hoping...

Unless I get blasted I'm calling the dealer in the AM to setup an appt. My pockets are empty on the trans.

have the codes cleared and see if they come back, I dont think the 0216 means the pump is done for,and its gonna die quickly. IIRC it can also be cause by a low/no LP pressure, and even with the 0216 the truck will run a long time, others might chime in to confirm this
If you dont have any drivability issues (dead pedal) my guess is it will keep running for a long while yet
