Ok here’s the deal. I have a 2006 3500 dually with a dodge Cummings ho 325hp motor and the *&^%$ing flywheel is bad on it. Whoever made this thing should be shot! Thing is i have never taken one of these off before and I know the crank bolts are behind the moving piece of the flywheel but how the heck do you get that piece off to get the crank bolts? It's driving me nuts! Hey also does anyone know if you can replace this pos flywheel ( fw ) with a normal 1 piece fw? O yes I know allot of you are going 2006 this truck is new so let the dealer do it under warranty but I put 150k + on these trucks a year so yea it would be at 107k miles and Dodge said so sad to bad but that will be 3bills to fix. NOT! My dealer pricing on the fw is 1050$ so you can see why I'd like to go back to a cheaper normal fw costing around 350$. Any help on how you get the second piece of the fw off first so i can unbolt the crank bolts will be very appreciated.

I'd say talk to Jet Pilot on here, who deals with South Bend Clutches. I think I saw them having a setup that replaces the dual mass with a normal flywheel.
