Thanks Tough Old Goat, definatly gonna give it a go. Owned the truck two weeks before I got dead pedal, and no love from the DODGE DEALER I bought it from. Well they split the cost with me at $3000, which means they replaced it for no profit. Ya, after some arguing that is. That $1500 coulda bought some nice parts. Oh well.

I don't know why you guys don't just use something designed for fuel system lubrication! Most of these products have additional benefits such as increasing cetane level, fighting algae, anti gelling etc. I use John Deere fuel additive. They have a summer and a winter formula.

Because the 2 stroke oil came out ahead of most of those products in the independent test. And 80% of those products are solvent based so they do not lubricate your pump. Some of them actually had worse test results than the ULSD by itself. Proof of them being solvent based.

The 2 stroke oil is highly recommended with the ULSD, since it has less lubricity than the LSD from before. It help keep pumps & injectors lubed.
I run PS silver, also, for Cetane, injector cleaning.

I use the cheap stuff by the gallon from walmart like $10 and add 16 oz at fillup from empty, the engine is noticibly quieter pumps, inj., etc. if i forget to add it i notice fast as the engine noise gets loud don't think it helps fuel mileage though

old goat are you gettin 20-22 hwy or around town? i am only gettin about 15 mixed driving

I use the Walmart stuff. I add 1qt. every fill up weather I'm completely empty or not. I had switched to LubeControl's new fuel additive, but didn't notice any gain in mileage. Went back to the 2stroke cause its a lot cheaper. Maybe once I have the spare cash I'll buy a gallon of the Lubecontrol stuff and run that stuff for a few months to see if extended use of it makes any difference.
