ZF hydraulic pump & hydro boost install
Great job! You got me thinking now...
i just got a replacement master cylinder because mine is leaking.
One thing i noticed is the front line should be 1/4" on the chevy, thats probably why it didn't fit the 1/8" line fitting. The older dodges use a larger fitting up front for the smaller line, i think. I've done new brake lines on almost every vehicle i've owned.

I put a hydro boost from a chevy in mine cut the rod 3/4 of an in and my front brakes are staying on a little is it because of the stock valve down on the frame and do I need to change it to one from a hydro boost
The thing I found was, my brakes were applying due to a restriction on the return side. I had to use 1/2 inch return line to fix the problem. i even put an extra return spring to pull the brake pedal up and it only helped a little, make sure you have a free flowing return system.
Thanks guys for the help I,ll check return line in the morning but what has got me is my brake light is staying on and if I,m stop and push the pedal hard a couple times it will go out then come back on its got a new mastercyl any ways I,ll try anything just got the p pump motor in 210hp holy does it ever work nice
ZF pump and hydroboost
After running this sytem for a while, if you use the big ZF pump, you must ensure that there is enough return flow capability. I used 3/8 line from the T where the 2 return lines (hydro boost & steering box) connected to the reservior, I had to make a new T with a 1/2 inch return line. When cold the brakes would apply themselves (trashed rotors and drums) and the over pressure blew the seals in my hydro boost unit.
The self applying brakes was cool for morning warm ups, untill I let it run too long and it rolled down the drive way.
