worth it? (gasser 1st gen)

got a friend that wants to sell me 2 1st gens for $1000. both early 90's 150s one runs and drives fine, body in decent shape. the other he says motor is great but PO ran over a railroad tie at 30+mph so the front frame is messed up and there isn't a straight body piece on it.... worth it? the damaged on has a perfect dash and trim pieces probably some other stuff i could part out.

Guys - stick very close to the question. If this turns into an ad, it goes bye-bye.

I think you could make a few bucks by parting them out. Look at what Redlinear does on Ebay. Do these trucks have parts you want, or is this strictly a business venture?

i was thinking of flipping the runner trying to make a few bucks it's got fusible link issue. there are some parts i'd like to have off the other but mostly a business venture. figure for a running truck with 8ft bed i should be able to get $1500-$2000 from someone locally.
