Sounds like you need new window seals. You can get everything off the JCWhitney site. And there is a great write-up in the stickey on how to do the replacement. I did the front doors on my crew and it was night and day....still have some scratches but no more rattles and grinding when going up and down.

Here's the sticky thread Thrashingcows was referring to. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=152939
I have the same scratched window on mine, (both sides actually ) I'm going to replace the glass and the weather stripping at the same time.

Ahh, haven't actually bought it yet. I should have qualified that by saying something along the lines of , 'when I get around to it/have money to buy the stuff' etc etc.

I ordered the complete kits for both doors. Comes with all the window weather strips, seals, felts, and channel seals. As well as a set of door weather stripping.

Everything fit fine, and the quality was good to excellent.

A good place to look for parts, I've found, is car-part.com.

I doubt you'll find weather stripping there, but you will find used windows for our trucks. Safelite quoted me $250-odd for one window last time I checked online.
