Wich 16cm housing?

I'm replacing my 21cm with a 16cm,wich 16cm do I want,I see some non-wastgated 16's advertized,but other sites warn against not having a wastegate......please help.thanx

You want a non-wastegated 16. I have never even seen a wastegated 16 (that does not mean they don't exist though). You can also get nonwastegated 12 and 14 housings. It all depends on what you are trying to do. The 16 is a really good all areound housing. It works well for towing and is a drastic improvement in performance over the 21.

I agree.... the non gated 16cm is a great blend of spool-up and EGT reduction on our 1st gen trucks.

thanx for the info,I will definatly go with the 16cm,is my old 21cm wastegated?

the 21's are not waste-gated. WG housings have an actuator hanging off of them (rod with a can and pressure line on the end) and are a little longer where the exhaust pipe mounts.
