Ok, I was able to track down and source a business that still sells the 89-93 Dodge CTD 16cm housing upgrade. These turbine housing bolt directly onto the factory H1C. The housing is a true HOLSET part and includes mounting hardware/instructions. I also know that many 1st genners just buy a HX-35 with the factory 16cm setup. I am trying to weigh out the cost effectiveness between the two options. I am leaning toward the 16cm kit for the H1C, because I know it's new and can be easily applied with no modifications. I have also been counciled by other diesel guru's that the compressor side of the H1C and HX-35 are about the same in performance.........it's the exhaust side/turbine housing that is horrible on the H1C. I would be interested in knowing what folks think and also would like to hear before & after thoughts when installing a 16cm on a 1st gen.

Some added info: pickup has an automatic and I am only planning to tow trailers under 30 feet in length. (travel trailers/boats)

Stick with the stock turbine housing and get a compressor kit instead.

Yeah I got the Stage IV from HTT and love it. Also go my 16cm housing from PDR.

I think I'll wait it out for a while. I haven't added fuel yet...........so I can focus on other stuff.
