what size threads on banjos

what size threads on banjos

i want to build my own big fuel line system but not sure what the thread size the banjos ars, 12mm metric threads or are they pipe threads.

The IP and filter head inlet/outlet are 12mm x 1.5.

^^^^^What he said,^^^^^ and the lift-pump outlet is 14MMx1.5.

I ?think? the lift-pump inlet is 1/4-NPT, but it could also be 14MMx1.5.


The confusion is 1/4-NPT will easily thread into a 14MMx1.5 hole, and I have even managed to make them work drip-free; but, the 14MM threads are straight threads, whereas the 1/4-NPT threads taper.

Stock diaphragm pump and the piston pumps have 1/4" npt inlets.

I'd build a separate fuel filter mount/stand and not use the OEM mount and filter.

Generally the fuel heater is more trouble than it's worth. As long as you use fuel treatment in cold weather, you'll never have to worry about heating your fuel.

this is my first winter with the truck and seems a little cranky If I turn the key on 3 or 4 times and let the grid heater go off every time it will start but if I just go once it's a no go.
Also is there anyway a plumbing supply or something local might carry those metric threads

Good luck finding anything METRIC at a normal store.

What you will have to do is use the METRIC/JIC adapter, then a JIC-SWIVEL, then plug the fuel-line to that.


I have never been able to find plain old Metric/HOSE-BARB fittings, without first having to go JIC.


JIC is better, anyway.
