i was just fixing to do my up graded banjo bolts with yellow teflon tape and and seemed to think im not supposed to use it? a little help would be greatly appreseated
If you are using teflon...you MUST make sure its rated for petroleum use. Some people shy away from teflon as there is a chance of getting some in your fuel system. Not good.
Use either Loctite PST (liquid teflon) or Permatex #2

I use nothing on the banjo bolts. The copper gaskets are sufficient to seal the banjos, and the risk of getting anything microscopic in the fuel system is reduced by keeping them completely clean.
The yellow teflon is petro rated, so you are ok there, but it is completely unnecessary and the risk of losing a flake in the system is significant. If you are worried about thread corrosion, use green loctite on the final sealed and cleaned connections. Just remember to carefully clean the banjos before you ever pop one open again, you do not want any flakes of loctite in the system either.

i just need it for the pipe fittings for my needle valve, 90, and compression. the yellow is good for natural gas, propane water, oil and a couple other things. im not using it on the banjo part itself. thanks for the help. if i can just find that other compression nut ill finish it!
Just use Permatex #2, it's easier to find than yellow tape.
Big problem with any kind of tape is that it's near impossible to remove all the debris from female fittings if you ever have to take things apart, it will go into the system.
Teflon tape is great for plumbing but really has no place in on a vehicle.

I don't use anything except the proper sealing washers on banjo bolts.
