What was the most power put down with stock injectors and ALL the pump tweeks?

I'm refering to the non-IC stock injectors of course since thats what I have. They are 9's right? The IC'd ones are 7's and POD's are 11's or 13's?

I am really curious because with the added 2nd gen IC and all the pump tweeks, 4" exhaust, and really free flowing intake it should do decient right?

Any guesses on what it could put down?

NonIC'd injectors have 9mm tips. IC'd injectors have 7mm tips. POD's, Bosch, 190's, 185's, 2nd gen 12 valve injectors also have 7mm tips.

I'd say about 300rwhp tops. With the stockers you'll be stressing the pump more than with aftermarket or higher flowing injectors. Sorta like trying to blow through a small straw. NonIC'd stock injectors flow about as much as the old Bosch 185's. Most likely equivalent to 190's as well. This is why with a non-ic'd engine, you don't buy the 185's or 190's. You only option is POD's, reman stock or custom built injectors.

300 or even close sounds nice. I'd even take 275. Is this with stock turbo too? I dont see any real lag issue with the 18.5 housing so it will stay, but with the HTT III the EGT's will drop some right? The stock turbo is supplying more than enough air to keep smoke non egzist(well i cant spell that but you know what I mean.) LOL

I think the tranny may not want to hold the power it has now even either. What should I do to it to make it hold up to 300rwhp or 600rwtq?

The 727 is pretty tough compared to the OD transmissions. Put a shift kit in it, and a good TC if you want the torque to make it to the tires.

Frdneck laid down 234 HP/602 TQ at Fall Brawl. Turned up fuel screw and an HX-35. Nothing internal done to the pump. I believe it would make 275 HP with some pump work.

If thats all I need instead of a new tranny I'll for sure get a shift kit and convertor. Any hints on a good convertor?

What kind of pump work are we talking? At what point should I stop turning up the fuel screw, and can I go ahead and give it more advance?

Thanks for the help by the way.

Stop turning the screw when the engine won't drop right back down to idle when you snap the throttle.

Yes, you can get away with more than 1/8" of timing on a play truck. Double it and see how it runs.

Do you have a pyrometer yet?

No pyro yet but its in the works. I will have it soon. Right now I'm just playing around, I may hammer it for 3-4 seconds but mostly just drive it normal. I know EGT's can get high quick so with more timing and more fuel I will not be hammering it exept those couple second test runs. For the most part I drive the truck nice till some idiot gets up next to the beater and trys to pass me from a stop light. I killed2 Nissan's last night from a stop.
